Happy Summer!
Summertime is in full swing and I hope you all have been finding some normalcy as life begins to slowly open back up. Keep washing those hands and wearing those masks, but also enjoy a park day or a patio cocktail (parents ;)). Today, I have the EASIEST recipe for a yummy cereal bar that is sure to fill your snack time fantasies!
What You'll Need:
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Honey
2 1/2 Cups of Cereal (*I used gluten free peanut butter Chex cereal but you can use any cereal of your choosing!)
Large Microwavable Safe Mixing Bowl
Standard Size Baking Sheet
Parchment Paper
Step 1: Combine 1/2 cup of peanut butter and 1/2 cup of honey into a microwavable safe bowl and heat for 45 seconds. Mixture will become syrupy. Stir together to combine honey and peanut butter together completely.
Step 2: Add in 2 1/2 cups of cereal to peanut butter/honey mixture (*Pro Tip: add little bits of cereal at a time, folding it into the mixture, so that all bits of cereal can be covered thoroughly).
Step 3: Line your standard baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out tiny balls of your cereal/peanut butter/honey mixture and space them evenly apart on your pan (*I used my coffee scooper, but you can also use an ice cream scoop, a spoon, or even just your hands).
Step 4: Refrigerate for 25 minutes.
Step 5: ENJOY! Since, I don't have littles, I made these for my roommate and I to enjoy as an afternoon pick me up treat and she 100% approved of these! She rated them a 10/10. These surely won't disappoint you or your little!
Stay Safe. Stay Smiling. Keep on keeping on family! You got this!
Happy Snacking!
