DIY: Brown Bag Puppets for Class

Hi families,

Today we’re suggesting a craft as old as time… brown paper bag puppets!

Chances are you’ll be able to find one under your sink or in a closet somewhere in your mother’s house. A big challenge would be to use a brown store bag and make an almighty puppet or even a costume for your toddler :)

Tools:

  1. Bags or paper

  2. Markers or paints

  3. Googly eyes or buttons

  4. Any craft supply you can find

I grabbed the brown bags from under my sink, I truly have no idea why I own them but they come in handy for projects. Also I would recommend investing in googly eyes if your child isn’t at risk of putting them in their mouth. It makes for all kinds of instant projects like making faces out of paper plates!

I made a lady and a frog. I painted my bag green as the base for my frog and used scrap paper and markers for the rest of the decorations! For my Lady I used googly eyes and a patterned tape for hair.

I wonder if these friends will put on a puppet show... I can’t wait to find out.

Bring your puppets and toys to our Music Class today at 3:30pm!
