Hello there!
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend full of light and love! Speaking of light, for this activity idea all you need is light and your imagination.
Maybe you remember playing with shadows as a kid? With just a flashlight and a blank surface, you had an arsenal of creatures at the palm of your hands. Literally.
This used to be one of my favorite activities to do with friends or family. It is something so simple, but the possibilities of what you can create are endless. You can create something intricate that obviously represents an existing animal, or you can just pretend to be a simple one-eyed monster.
Shadows can be a curious or even a scary thing. They are always used in stories and movies to allude to something spooky, but sometimes it is nice to take control over things that may frighten us in order to realize they are not so mysterious after all.
So have fun playing, creating, and shaking up bedtime stories with your toddler. A phone flashlight and a blank wall/ceiling will be the perfect canvas.
Sending you all so much love!
